Flambeaux Lighting has been building copper gas lanterns by hand in Louisiana since 2004. Every lantern is made to order—direct from our workshop to your home. No middlemen, no warehoused stock. Flambeaux lanterns span from traditional New Orleans-inspired designs to contemporary architectural styles. Every collection is available in gas, electric, or propane—and every finish, size, and mount option is available across the range.

Every Flambeaux lantern is available in natural gas, electric, or propane. Gas lanterns run at 1,280 BTUs/hour—approximately $10–15/month to operate continuously. Flambeaux lanterns mount four ways: flush mount (direct to wall), wall/bracket mount, hanging/yoke mount, and post mount. Bracket type depends on your wall surface, wind exposure, and coastal environment. See our bracket options for details.

Four finishes are available: Raw Copper, Aged Copper, Stainless Steel, and Dark Oxidation. The Dark Oxidation finish is exclusive to Flambeaux—applied by hand in our Louisiana workshop using a chemical process that creates a deep, living surface.
